6. 2 witnesses get blessed hope on command after resurrection. IMO, 1, 2, 5 & 6 are concurrent events; rapture of church is 3.5 yrs into peace agreement & 2 witnesses witness during the 1st half of peace agreement. Thus, rapture is mid-trib.

Scriptural facts re our blessed hope: 1. Dead in Christ go up 1st. 2. Alive in Christ go up next. 3. 2 witnesses are alive & in Christ for their 3.5 yrs of witnessing. 4. AC is revealed @ "abomination of desolation" 3.5 yrs after he confirms 7 yrs peace agreement with Israel & others. 5. 2 witnesses are resurrected 3.5 days after they're murdered by AC.

Elijah is witness to a time when Israel was fallen into idolatry under a wicked king and his foul wife Jezebel. Elijah is a witness against the leadership in Israel and those in the nation pretending to serve God but are really servants of the enemy. Just a thought concerning their qualifications as witnesses.

Great discussion. I have an idea that supports Enoch and Elijah as 2witnesses: I have come to view Enoch as the prophet/witnesses to the nations because he prophesied and taught the peoples before Israel was a nation. There are requirements to being a witness in the Torah. Yeshuah said the final generation would be like the days of Noah and Enoch is a witness of that time.
